TEAM FUNDRAISING REQUIREMENT
Each yoga team can have up to 8 yogis contributing to the fundraising requirement and participating in part or all of the 8-hour yoga practice. By registering as a team captain, you are setting your team's intention to raise at least $1,200 for Free to Breathe. For a team of 8 people, that is only $100 per team member, after registration fees are factored in! See the Additional Information page for event day incentive experiences.
**Team fundraising total is the sum of the individual fundraising efforts by all team members
NON TEAM MEMBER FUNDRAISING REQUIREMENT
Each individual registering outside a team is welcome to join our Sangha Circle area on event day to practice with other solo practitioners. By registering, you are setting your intention to raise at least $400 for Free to Breathe. In addition to securing your spot on event day, each fundraising level you hit will increase your eligibility for fabulous fundraising incentives!
STEP 2 - SET A GOAL & START TRAINING
Team members may complete as much or as little of the yoga as they choose, but at least one team member should strive to be on their mat participating at all times. Each team member will be encouraged to set a personal participation goal for the day (i.e. 3 hours). See the Additional Information page for training specials from our yoga studio partner sponsors to help you train to meet your goal!
STEP 3 - CHANGE THE FUTURE OF LUNG CANCER

In Case of Inclement Weather
Our goal is to ensure the safety of every event participant and volunteer. In the occasion of severe weather, decisions to delay or postpone the Madison Yoga Challenge will be made in consultation with local event jurisdictions, law enforcement, the park and other officials. Weather forecasts will be monitored through out the day, with special attention placed on the possibility of hail, thunder and lightening. Free to Breathe event personnel reserve the right to delay, postpone or cancel an event due to inclement weather.
It is possible that we may encounter periods of rain throughout the day. Should rain occur without the threat of thunder or lighting we will continue the day’s activities without interruption. If lighting or other dangerous weather should develop, we reserve the right to delay the event for up to 60 minutes. Free to Breathe staff will be monitoring the weather throughout the day’s activities and will keep all participants updated as necessary.
