Free to Breathe® Indianapolis Inaugural Lung Cancer 5K Run/Walk & 1-Mile Walk June 22, 2013

Help
us double lung cancer survival! By participating and choosing to fundraise, you’re
helping us raise awareness and fund vital research programs dedicated to
doubling lung cancer survival by 2022.

10:00 a.m. - Registration & silent auction opens 11:00 a.m. - Opening rally begins 11:25 a.m. - Tot trot 11:30 a.m. - 5K run/walk begins 11:35 a.m. - 1-Mile walk begins 12:30 p.m. - Silent auction closes 1:00 p.m. - Closing remarks and announcement of silent auction winners
Please note: Participants in the 5K Run/Walk will not be individually timed. Registration fee includes all-day access to the park.

All online and mail-in registrants are guaranteed an event T-shirt. A limited quantity of T-shirts will be available for those registering on event day.

The top three individual
fundraisers and top three fundraising teams (based on totals as of 5
p.m. on June 20) will be acknowledged on event day. Fundraising will remain open through Aug. 6.

Kids' activities and a silent auction will be available throughout the event.
Course Description
At Fort Harrison State Park, landscape and history blend together at this unique setting on the north-east side of Indianapolis. The course follows a paved trail around the park's Duck Pond. Much of the trail is tree-covered and wildflowers grow next to the walking surface all season long.
Parking
Once you enter the park, please follow the Free to Breathe Indianapolis signs for parking.
Driving Directions/Map
From Downtown Indianapolis Take I-70 East toward Columbus. Merge onto I-465 North. Take Exit 40 for 56th Street. Turn right onto East 56th Street. Turn left onto North Post Road. Turn left onto Shafter Road. Fort Harrison State Park entrance gate will be straight ahead.
From North of Indianapolis Take I-65 South toward Indianapolis. Merge onto I-865 East. Keep left at the fork and follow signs for I-465 East. Take Exit 40 for 56th Street. Turn left onto East 56th Street. Turn left onto North Post Road. Turn left onto Shafter Road. Fort Harrison State Park entrance gate will be straight ahead.
