I made a personal donation to Free to Breathe.
Hi my name is Paige:
This is my 8th year participating in the Race for Breath 5K run to benefit Free to Breathe.
My Pawpaw died from lung cancer on November 6, 2009.
I was only 6 when my pawpaw passed away. I do remember him and I do remember how very sad everyone was when we lost him.
My family formed Team Rick in his memory so that we could help raise money to support the fight againt lung cancer. We started participating in the Race for Breath 5k on Nov. 6, 2010. Our family drives to Virginia Beach every year for this event and each year our Team gets bigger and bigger. I love seeing all my Aunts, Uncles, Counsins and family friends. They tell alot of stories about my pawpaw and it makes me very happy to hear them.
This is fundraising event and every dollar counts! Please consider donating to my page in order to raise money for Free To Breathe. Lung cancer is the #1 killer of cancer and I would like to see a cure one day so no other family or friend of ours has to leave to soon.
Lots of Love,
I’m fundraising for Race for Breath benefiting Free to Breathe. Will you donate today and join me in raising money to fund lung cancer research and treatments that will save lives so that together we can help Free to Breathe in their quest to double lung cancer survival by 2022?
